Job Description:

As a Barclays Prime Deliveries Services Analyst, you will be part of a team handling the end-to-end processing of listed derivatives contracts that expire from delivery to settlement across fixed income and equity products. You will focus primarily on monitoring client positions and communicating effectively with stakeholders, and be involved in facilitating increasing volumes and complexity by investing in capacity and productivity, whilst ensuring our control framework remains world class.

Job Responsibilities:

• Updating and maintaining client position limits in WebICE Clearing Admin
• Seeking opportunities between Barclays and Utility models in an active manner
• Being responsible for a variety of listed derivative processes, including end-to-end delivery and settlement for all contracts expiring from futures and options
• Providing flawless client service and managing client expectations around key expiration periods
• Monitoring and performing T0 closeouts on exchange GUI terminals
• Managing high value assets into CCPs to avoid penalties and exchange buy-ins, including stock settlement, escalation and fails management processes
• Suggesting and implementing improvements from a control and efficiency perspective, whilst supporting the growing business
• Communicating Corporate Action information to external clients and key stakeholders internally

Job Requirements:

• Flexibility to cover shifts covering 7am – 9pm and 3rd Friday option expiries
• Knowledge of Futures & Options, Exchange Traded Derivatives, Trade lifecycle flows and control management
• Client focused mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of GMI, Clearvision and exchange GUIs would be beneficial
