Job Description:

To manage the compliance and risk control process within the Specialised Collections Division. To manage the quality control process within Legal Collections and the Collections Call Centre to identify risks and problem areas, to make recommendations to manage the identified risks and problem areas to ensure higher efficiency of the Legal Collections, Alternative Collections and Collections Call Centre Department

Job Responsibilities:

• Give guidance on legal operational issues
• Provide guidance and assistance to Managers in respect of the management of their portfolio to enhance performance
• Submit audit report to Head Compliance and Legal Process
• Manage monthly and annual compliance reports & associated feedback
• Provide input on alternative strategies to implement in the legal collections process
• Submit recommendations on training and coaching initiatives

Job Requirements:

• Assess the prospects of success on litigated matters and act in the best interest of the bank
• The ability to provide instructions to a panel of attorneys on defended matters/reckless lending matters
• The ability to draft legal process/pleadings
