Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist in Cape Town.

Job Responsibilities:

• To implement and manage corrective measures on poor workmanship, where applicable ensure penalties as set out on the Master Procurement Agreement (MPLA) are upheld.
• Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• To provide monthly and weekly reports on status of quality issues in your area of responsibility.
• Consolidate all specifications and enforce compliance on all relevant stakeholders.
• To conduct research regarding the trends in Quality Assurance and recent specifications as laid out by Vodafone Specification Team.
• To develop and manage site test procedures to ensure best practices are maintained on workmanship by all stakeholders.
• Provide support to all project leaders assigned to counties across the region and issue BOM and SOW for all contractors working in your area of responsibility.
• Ensure that all services by suppliers are only those ones enshrined on the Statement of Works document set out by SCM and guard against transgressions.

Job Requirements:

• 3 year Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering essential + Project Management related qualification
• Matric / Grade 12 essential
• 2 years RF knowledge
• 3 years’ experience in Telecommunications industry (Installations and Transmission)
