Job Description: We have a dedicated operations teams for our Retail business. This team manages all import shipments into Cape Town & Durban from various suppliers globally – mainly China Job Responsibilities: Tracking of shipments Update and maintenance of lane specific rates monthly Capturing of charges in CW1 Opening shipment files and documents assembly Registration of shipments on CW1 Completing key updates and milestones in CW1 Following up on carrier invoices and ANF’s Engage origin offices and carriers regarding forwarding of shipments Checking vendor invoices and raising queries as required. Assisting the Client lead with Ad hoc projects and reporting Following up and retrieving shipping documents after sailing from origin offices Shipment status reporting as required Preparing SOB’s Job Requirements: Grade 12 certificate Experience in CargoWise1 Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Freight forwarding and controlling.
