Job Description:
We have a dedicated operations teams for our Retail business. This team manages all import shipments into Cape Town & Durban from various suppliers globally – mainly China
Job Responsibilities:
- Tracking of shipments
- Update and maintenance of lane specific rates monthly
- Capturing of charges in CW1
- Opening shipment files and documents assembly
- Registration of shipments on CW1
- Completing key updates and milestones in CW1
- Following up on carrier invoices and ANF’s
- Engage origin offices and carriers regarding forwarding of shipments
- Checking vendor invoices and raising queries as required.
- Assisting the Client lead with Ad hoc projects and reporting
- Following up and retrieving shipping documents after sailing from origin offices
- Shipment status reporting as required
- Preparing SOB’s
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Experience in CargoWise1
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Freight forwarding and controlling.
