Job Description: The incumbents responsibility will be: To the manage and mentor the Engineers in Training (EIT) engineering graduate programme for Sibanye-Stillwater which includes external students (MQA & outside companies), to equip them in order to obtain their Government Certificate of Competence by coaching, mentoring and facilitating experiential and short course interventions as required by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE). Training Strategy and Governance Framework Job Responsibilities: Facilitate and manage EIT as per the Sibanye-Stillwater policies Facilitate and manage network accessibility for all EIT’s Facilitate and manage interventions (Theoretical and practical), Internal and external Develop governance and control mechanisms Facilitate and maintain DMRE Engineers in Training programme Facilitate and manage on site exposure (What to observe) Coordinate with other Mining Companies to share costs of Interventions and visits. Facilitate and manage Portfolio of Evidence (POE) of EIT modules Facilitate and manage EIT and Mentor registration at DMRE as per guidelines Develop and manage implementation of training strategy and operating standards for Engineers in Training (EIT) Define short, medium and long term objectives to deliver training strategy Prepare, facilitate topics as per Annexure E plan within the 24 month programme Prepare, facilitate and manage assessments of EIT modules Job Requirements: Be in possession of a registered Mentorship Certificate programme Be in possession of an Assessors and or Moderators Certificate Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
